Characteristics

• Polyethylene Glycol Diacrylate (PEGDA, EO≈14)
• Difunctional acrylate monomer with medium-length ethylene oxide chain
• Excellent balance of flexibility and mechanical strength
• Good hydrophilicity and water compatibility
• Lower viscosity than high molecular weight PEGDA grades
• Provides soft and flexible cured films with low internal stress
• Improves elongation, toughness, and impact resistance
• Enhances adhesion to polar substrates such as plastics, glass, and metals
• Low shrinkage during UV curing
• Good compatibility with urethane acrylates, epoxy acrylates, and polyester acrylates
• Suitable reactive diluent for UV coatings, adhesives, inks, and 3D printing resins
• Maintains flexibility while providing higher crosslink density than PEGDA-1000
• Good wetting and flow characteristics
• Tg = -44°C contributes to excellent low-temperature flexibility
• Moderate refractive index (1.468) and good optical clarity
• Lower water absorption and higher hardness than PEGDA-1000
• Useful for flexible coatings, pressure-sensitive adhesives, soft elastomeric UV systems, and hydrogel-related formulations
• Balanced performance between PEGDA-400 and PEGDA-1000 grades in flexibility, viscosity, and cure response
