Characteristics
IBXA is a monofunctional acrylate monomer with a relatively high glass transition temperature (Tg). Due to its bulky pendant group, it provides steric hindrance that reduces hydrogen bonding, making it well suited for high-solids coatings.
Despite its high Tg, IBXA is also used in adhesive applications. In addition, it is widely used as a reactive diluent in UV-curable systems and inks due to its excellent compatibility and low irritation.
